Facility Manager

Being a Facility Manager has taught Jeremy a great deal about responsibility and leadership. He completely changed the way he thinks and his perspective on things. He understands how critical maintenance is to a facility. He loves the cause and effect of things. When Jeremy was first hired at CGL, he did not think it would amount to the success he has experienced so far. He has been promoted several times and had the opportunities to work on several different contracts throughout the company and around the state. Contracts include DOC, DBHDD, GRVA, BOR and DFCS. His background is HVAC, but he has learned several different trades while being employed here. Jeremy loves how he can be himself and interact with others around the company whether personally or remotely. Prior to work with CGL, he was an HVAC installer at Reliable Heating and Air. Jeremy is very outgoing and always strives to be the best version of himself. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, cooking and riding motorcycles.

What's your favorite part about working at CGL?

What I enjoy best about the company is, despite how big the company is still feels very personable. I’ve grown to know a lot of people throughout my time with the company. I had the opportunity to travel and meet many people of different backgrounds and ethics groups. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new of how to approach different situations. My background is HVAC, but I’ve had the opportunity to learn different trades by meeting multiple skilled technicians throughout my time with the company.

Which core value do you relate to the most?

The value I identified with is “Strive for Excellence”. I was always taught you only get one time to make a first impression. Meaning always be the best version of yourself, look your best and your work represents you. This is not only a value, but I treat it as a way of Life. I love being positive and wanting to spread positivity towards people close to me or around me. Putting forth extra effort, staying persistence and utilizing perseverance can become contagious. What’s best about Excellence is it encourages other to do the same.

Where in the world would you like to travel to next?

I would love to visit Egypt. The idea of the pyramids always fascinated me. The wonder of know how they were planned and built is really intriguing. I’m really interested in learning the culture and the history of Moses and Pharaohs. I interested in riding a camel in the desert. One of my favorite Disney movies is “The Prince of Egypt”.
