CGL began working with Mohave County as a part a public-private partnership design/build team as the facility maintenance consultant in 2008. CGL’s original scope of work was to provide technical and constructability reviews related to maintenance of the new jail facility. As a result of CGL’s maintenance expertise, Mohave County contracted with CGL in 2010 to provide facility maintenance services for the 250,000 square foot jail facility.

CGL’s maintenance model is based on prevention. Regularly scheduled preventive maintenance is approximately two-thirds less expensive than corrective maintenance and one-sixth the cost of emergency maintenance. CGL ensures the equipment in the jail, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems and more, are always in peak condition for optimal performance.

CGL has five staff on-site to oversee and perform maintenance tasks. CGL performs all preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance, responds to all maintenance
emergencies.
